STREET ART THROUGH
THE ROMAN QUART
The participants had the opportunity to become familiar with these Pompeii and Herculaneum, from a different angle - through ancient graffiti. Partakers got a chance to find out how much the wine cost in Pompeii, to whom the prayers were dedicated to, and whether there were outdoor displays in ancient Rome and what they looked like.

In addition to learning about the purposes and meanings of graffiti, it was possible to learn something about the techniques and conditions of graffiti production.

More than 200 ceramic fragments were decorated with diverse works of the participants, who tried their hand at drawing graffiti while using some of the materials used by Romans, such as charcoal.
